The lasting impression from the teaching experience was that of a battle to find the middle ground. Am I stifling the experience by being too involved? Am I slacking off by offering the group too little guidance? What is a Co-Learner?
These thoughts oscillate on two timescales – by the hour over the afternoon’s session and by the week over the module as a whole. The moments where you think you are doing a good job and can focus instead on the bigger picture are rare, fleeting, but rewarding.
