Student Artwork Featured at National Event

We are delighted that our student artwork was displayed at a national event recently.

Our two second year undergraduate modules Global Village: Innovation Challenge and Global Village: Visual Arts Challenge are both aligned with the national Engineering for People Design Challenge run by Engineers without Borders.

The students work side-by-side on these different modules, designing practical innovations for a single community in the innovation challenge, and producing artwork inspired by learning about the challenges faced by the community in the visual arts challenge.

The work of the Innovation Challenge students is submitted to the national competition, and as in previous years, we were thrilled to have a team reaching the finals event.

Additionally, for the first time, the artwork produced by our Visual Arts Challenge was also showcased at the event, being projected during the interval.

Many thanks to the Design Challenge team for facilitating this opportunity.

More details and examples of the artwork can be found here.
